About Me
Dr. Cook is a professor in the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Washington State University. She received her BS in Math/CS from
Wheaton College in 1985, and her MS and PhD in Computer Science from the
University of Illinois in 1987 and 1990, respectively. Dr. Cook heads projects
in the areas of machine learning, data mining, parallel algorithms, robotics,
and smart environments. Her work is supported by NSF, DARPA, NIH, DHS, and NASA. Descriptions of her research projects can be
