Achievement

Funded trainee Farid Harhad participated at the CUDA training during the SC09 supercomputer conference learning basic CUDA programming paradigms and GPU performance case studies. CUDA programming on GPU represents a new paradigm for CFD. On his return, he shared what he learnt with his IGERT and non IGERT colleagues. This dissemination of CUDA knowledge has energized different groups to seriously re-examine their approaches toward CFD coding.
