Brownbag Ethics Seminars benefit trainees

We had two Brownbag Ethics Seminars: "Scientific Responsibility & Social Problems" (September 2008), and "Practices that are Unique or almost Unique to Academia" (January 2009). These allowed the students and faculty from many disciplines to discuss openly several ethical questions and were of enormous benefit to the students as they offered significant insight into situations they will face as researchers. Both seminars were sponsored by the Mechanical Engineering Department and moderated by Profs. E. Song and J. Rocha of the Philosophy Department at LSU.
