Achievement

During this semester, we initiated a spatial dynamics colloquium, attended by the IGERT trainees, associates, co-PIs, and several participating faculty. The colloquium topics were divided among research talks (two by invited off-campus speakers, the rest drawn from co-PIs and faculty around campus), introductions to topic areas (e.g. geostatistics, spatial community diversity metrics, species habitat suitability), and broader impacts activities such as discussions of communicating with the media and group interactions.
