Kellie Carim’s activities include: an NSF-GRFP Nordic Research Opportunity award to collaborate with Drs. A. Vøllestad and Y. Vindenes at Univ. Oslo; collaboration with MT Fish Wildlife & Parks and Confederated Salish & Kootenai Tribes on trout conservation. Participation in the Forum on Conservation Finance 04/13 Casper, WY on ways to finance conservation through cooperation with stakeholders and NSF Workshop “Science: Becoming the Messenger” 05/12. Presentations “Viability of isolated populations: what life history traits aid persistence” at the Am. Fisheries Society–Western Div Mtg, 04/13, Boise, ID and “Testing conservation guidelines from genetic theory in imperiled trout populations” at the Centre for Ecological and Evolutionary Synthesis Symposium, 11/12 in Oslo, Norway.
