Achievement

In addition to his responsibilities as an IGERT trainee, materials engineering student William Gathright completed a MS degree in Management through the Lally School of Management at RPI. From the beginning of his career as a student, Will was interested in the intersection between technology and business. He seized on one of the pillars of the IGERT program -- the mandate to train future entrepreneurs -- and made it his focus throughout his business education. He has recognized that the synergy between his technical background, his management training, and the interdisciplinary nature of the IGERT program is ideal training for a budding entrepreneur.
