Achievement

The PI and graduate coordinator for one of the participating departments developed a responsible and effective research course for trainees and other students. They are currently teaching this course to a group of non-trainees and trainees that have not yet taken the course will take it in the fall. The PI’s department will require this course of all new students. During this course, students follow the scientific pathway from generating an idea, writing a proposal, ethical and practical considerations of conducting a project, data analysis, and writing manuscripts.
