Trainee first author on article in premier journal
James Elmore, an IGERT trainee, is a first author on one of the publications in Molecular and Cellular Proteomics describing the largest quantitative proteomics study of the membrane to date. This journal is the premier proteomics journal and the article was highlighted on the cover of the journal. Interdisciplinary research combining plant biology, mass spectrometry (chemistry/biochemistry) and bioinformatics was necessary to complete the project.
