Second international workshop organized

A second international workshop was organized in induced polarization at the Colorado School of Mines (9/31/11 to 10/3/11). There was an active participation of the IGERT fellows in this workshop. Induced polarization is a non-intrusive geophysical method used to image the subsurface of the Earth and it is used in several PhD thesis research by the IGERT Fellows. 61 researchers from 16 nationalities registered for this workshop, which comprised 27 oral presentations and 19 posters organized in four sessions covering theory, laboratory and field measurements, tomography, and data interpretation.
