Achievement

A new course had been developed to further the interdisciplinary aims of the IGERT. This course, Object-Oriented Programming for Interactive Systems, provides an accelerated review of computer science concepts for incoming IGERT students in the context of useful robotics and engineering tasks before they take the graduate level computer science courses that are part of the program of study for robotics. Along with aiding the program of study, students taking the course are better prepared for research tasks that include an element of software development.
