New course: Devices for Energy Storage, Harvesting and Conversion

A new, highly popular course, Devices for Energy Storage, Harvesting and Conversion, has been jointly developed by IGERT faculty from Rutgers (Deirdre O'Carroll), and Princeton (Craig Arnold). The course provides an integrated foundation of the devices used for energy storage and energy harvesting from the point of view of engineering and systems design. This is a new course for both universities, held simultaneously at both using video conferencing to create a single classroom. Lectures alternate from one classroom to the other depending on the topic. This course represents the final integrative course proposed by the IGERT program on an interdisciplinary subject that would not have been offered by either school on their own. The course is open to all interested graduate students and IGERT trainees.
