IGERT cohort submits proposal to NSF I-Corps program

Our IGERT cohort 6 students submitted a proposal to the NSF I-Corps program entitled Wireless Sensor Network for Formaldehyde Emission Monitoring. The research combined the trainee's multidisciplinary expertise in chemistry, chemical sensors, and sensor informatics. The cohort worked closely with the University of Maine Advanced Wood Composites Center as the client in the development of their research and this proposal. Of 26 submitted IGERT projects, this project was one of seven forwarded to I-Corps.
