Achievement

In general, we consider the continuing enrichment activities to be a major achievement of the program. Examples include: broadening their sphere of academic contacts through allow them to organize their own seminar series and hosting of speakers; tutorials on entrepreneurship from industrial and academic experts with first hand knowledge of translating laboratory discoveries into practical applications; tutorials on ethics; practice and tutorials on giving scientific presentations to a multidisciplinary audience; tutorial and demonstration of designing outreach activities for K-12 students; supervisory teaching experiences.
