Fellow presented work and received post-doc

Thomas Bohrmann, an IGERT fellow in the first cohort, has presented the collaborative work from the first workshop this year (see Research Achievements). He presented the initial results of the hydrological modeling for Archbold Biological Research Station from the first workshop at the QSE3 IGERT Annual Symposium, Gainesville, Florida in May 2010 and 2011. He also presented the research at the Eastern North American Region of the International Biometric Society in Miami, Florida. Thomas is preparing the manuscript for submission to an environmental statistics journal. He is currently preparing his dissertation and plans to graduate this summer. He has lined up a post-doc at the EPA in Athens, Georgia, which will begin in Fall 2011.
