Achievement

As the popular weekly current-results seminar in nanoscale research enters its fifth year, included in the campus' graduate curriculum course listings as NSE 298, we have formed a student-led organizational committee which oversees the speaker invitations, topics covered, and hosting duties. This allows graduate students to gain experience in course administration. It is also a valuable mechanism for the organizers to establish connections with leading researchers throughout the country. Past participants have already secured postdoctoral positions in the labs of faculty who served as guest speakers in our seminar series.
