Weekly Perceptual Science seminar

The IGERT students continued to run the weekly Perceptual Science seminar, which featured visitors from outside Rutgers who presented research on topics central to the interdisciplinary focus of the IGERT, including computational approaches to visual search, perceptual learning, perception of shape and size in 3D environments, motor behavior, and conveying meaning with words and pictures. The students organized a post-talk meeting with visitors, centered around exploring interactions with their own project. IGERT students presented their work in the seminar in talks ranging from 20-45 minutes, and received detailed feedback. Our end-of-year poster session was held on May 2, where all students presented their achievements and received feeback and presentation/communication skills.
