Trainees integrate metagenomic analyses
Two IGERT Traineees, Ellen Lark and Marnie Rout, have integrated state-of-the-art metagenomic analyses into their research. This major research advance became possible due to collaborative research teamwork including Trainees and Faculty from Computer Science, Math, Biological Sciences and the Independent Interdisciplinary PhD (IIP) program and interdisciplinary mentoring supported by the MEID IGERT program.
