Achievement

This is the 6th year of the Coastal Institute IGERT Project (CIIP) and our students are finishing their Ph.D. dissertations. Many of our trainees are already having portions of their research published in the respectable journals in coastal ecosystem management. The collective scholarship of our trainees is our most significant scholarly achievement in this phase of our project. Most of the CIIP energy this year was spent on supporting student research through a grants-in-aid program and assessing the lessons learned from our program.
