Preparing Future Faculty Program at UC

The graduate school at UC hosts a Preparing Future Faculty (PFF) Program. As part of the program, students must fulfill several requirements, including completion of a 40-hour mentoring experience. One of our former trainees, Kirsten Kinneberg, worked this year with the IGERT PI to create the IGERT seminar series for students and advisors. One of the seminars she planned was a presentation by Dr. Robert Zierolf, Associate Director of the Graduate School, in which he described the Preparing Future Faculty Program to the current IGERT trainees. As a result, one of the current trainees, Andy Breidenbach, will enroll in the PFF program for the 2011-12 academic year.
