Trainee wins best poster award at UCGIS
Trainee Sam Copeland was honored to win the Best Poster Award at the 2010 Summer Assembly of the University Consortium for Geographic Information Science (UCGIS). The poster was entitled “’Fine scale’ simulation of infuenza in an ER waiting room.” The project analyzed influenza transmission in the waiting room as a function of the spatial distribution of patients.
