Galapagos Islands Studies Center opens
As a result of the collaborations between IGERT faculty at UNC and partners at the University of San Francisco Quito (USFQ), the Galapagos Islands Studies Center opened in April 2011.The Center, co-hosted by IGERT faculty and IGERT alumni, will host an undergraduate study abroad program beginning in July 2011. Classes will be co-taught by UNC-USFQ faculty.
