Trainee awarded LLNL fellowship

Each year Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) awards 10 fellowships to graduate students whose interests lie in the area computational science. The 10 selected Fellows participate in the Computational Chemistry and Materials Science Summer Institute. This year CSE IGERT Trainee Marc Griesemer was selected for one of these positions. Marc will spend the summer working on a project related to the intercellular exchange of carbon and nitrogen and their role in global nutrient cycling. He will also take a series of mini courses and attend lectures by leading experts in the field of computational chemistry.
