Achievement

Trainee Kevin Freedman has been awarded the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship for his work on single molecule analysis to understand protein kinetics, with Dr. MinJun Kim, in Drexel University's Department of Mechanical Engineering & Mechanics. Kevin has three papers published or in press, and several presentations at major conferences, including a Best Paper Award from the 2009 ASME International Mechanical Engineering Congress and Symposium, all in just his first full year as a PhD student. Additionally, Kevin's team placed second in the 2009 annual Business Pitch Competition, sponsored by Drexel University's Baiada Center for Entrepreneurship.
