Comparative research in Greenland

Three trainees have already reshaped their research to focus on new or comparative research in Greenland. Culler (ecology) is collaborating with Kelly (faculty, earth sciences) to use core samples collected from local New Hampshire lakes and cores collected in Greenland to understand how the freshwater invertebrate communities have shifted through time and as the climate has changed. Whitecloud (ecology) has expanded her plant community research to study indigenous uses of alpine and Arctic plants by Native Americans and Greenlanders.
