Achievement

Beginning in fall 2009, CPC trainees began providing the speaker introductions for the Center's regular seminar series. The speaker introduction is an important element in setting the tone and background for the weekly seminar. The introductions require background research on the speaker and the topic. The introduction is short (< 3 minutes), but information filled. Trainees also gain critical experience in public speaking and networking by introducing those in the field that are informing their disciplines.
