Achievement

In the last third of the Nitrogen Cycling course, student teams were formed to develop an interdisciplinary research proposal focused on some aspect of the nitrogen cycle. With some assistance from mentors assigned to each team, each team prepared complete NSF style proposals and then presented to the class an overview of their proposal. In addition, each student completed a technical review of the other three team proposals. The quality of the proposals was extremely high and evidence for a successful team building interdisciplinary exercise.
