About Me
I have been the project coordinator of the Perceptual Science IGERT at Rutgers since its inception in Sept. 2006, and since Sept. 2009, I have also been Assistant Dean at the Rutgers Graduate School and Operations Manager for an NSF “Innovation through Institutional Integration” (I-cubed) grant. The focus of the I-cubed is to leverage best practices from Rutgers’ 5 IGERTS and 5 major research centers “horizontally” across STEM graduate programs and “vertically” with Rutgers undergraduate research programs. I hope to funnel the ideas and experiences of all these programs to the igert.org Project Coordinators group.
Previously, I was a usability engineer in the telecom industry for over 15 years, taught at the community college level, and worked for a number of years doing counseling and social work. I have a Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology from the University of Connecticut, and an M.A. in Counseling Psychology.
