About Me
I started coordinating the NSF IGERT MASBioEnergy program at Colorado State University in March 2009. Since then, I have coordinated and assisted students selected for Colorado State University’s (CSU) Research Experience for Undergraduate (REU) program funded by C2B2 at University of Colorado and the new PhD student cohort at CSU as well as two new M.S. students within our bridge program with CSU-Pueblo.
My interests for this program have taken me towards the art of recruiting the best individuals for our program. Within this, my goals are to learn how to better recruit the best science students for our programs and how to better market the program to spread our program’s information widely to an array of audiences. Hopefully, by increasing our audience, we will increase the number of students who will learn about our program and if applicable, can apply for our program; thereby, increasing the opportunities for a diverse student base.
