About Me

The goal of my research is to understand neural mechanisms of development in 1) typically developing infants, 2) infants/children with, or at risk for, autism spectrum disorders (ASD), and 3) infants/children with congenital eye disorders and/or born prematurely. Our studies employ several different types of measures, including: i) Perceptual Techniques, ii) Event-Related Potentials (ERPs), iii) Behavioral Assessments of General Development (e.g., gross/fine motor skills, receptive/expressive language, problem solving, social interactions), and iv) measures of gastrointestinal development.
