Forouzan Golshani is the Dean of the College of Engineering, at California State University, Long Beach, and the Co-PI for a joint project with Arizona State University on a doctoral education program in the area of person-centered design for persons with disabilities. Previously he created large scale programs at Arizona State University and Wright University in similar areas, for which he successfully acquired more than $14 million of research funding. As a researcher, Dr. Golshani has registered ten inventions, and is the author and co-author of over 200 technical articles.
He has founded several successful start ups including Corporate Enhancement Group (reached 40 employees in 2000), Roz Software Systems, Inc. (received pre-institutional funding in 2002), and RFID Integrated Solutions, Inc. (acquired SBA funding in 2006.)
His senior management and technical consulting experience include: Motorola, Intel Corp., Honeywell, McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Company, Bull Worldwide Systems, and Sperry.
