About Me

I am a 4th year Ph.D. candidate and IGERT trainee at UC Davis. Our program, CREATE (Collaborative Research and Education in Agricultural Technologies and Engineering), focuses on using plants to solve pressing societal needs within 3 focus areas: Biofuels & Biorefineries, Agricultural Sustainability, and Plant-Made Products.

My research project focuses on developing tobacco as a manufacturing platform for rapid, cost-effective, and large scale production of therapeutics and vaccines. On my spare time, I enjoy reading and playing sports, especially basketball.
