About Me
I teach at a small undergraduate-only liberal arts college in Tacoma, Washington, which is just south of Seattle. Our physics department has eight faculty members, so I get to teach a range of courses at all levels of the undergraduate physics curriculum. I also carry out research in my laboratory and try to involve students in the research during the summers. My research focuses on the interactions between light and different types of materials.
