Grant to boost STEM education in Baltimore


IGERT faculty member Michael Falk was awarded a $7.4M grant from NSF to boost STEM education in Baltimore through a partnership with Baltimore City Public School, with significant potential to become national model. Trainees involved with this grant are encouraged to commit to 34 weeks of 4 hour stints at local schools. More information can be found at

This activity is directly focused on increasing the quality of STEM education by exposing not only students but their parents and teachers to STEM education at an early age.
