GLOBES Co-PI David Lodge sampling water from Chicago Canal

GLOBES Co-PI David Lodge collects water from the Chicago Sanitary and Shipping Canal to test for the presence of environmental DNA of Asian carp. The surveillance work is part of a contract with the US Army Corps of Engineers who oversee the electronic barriers constructed in the canals to prevent invasive species from entering Lake Michigan.
