Conference Announcement: Enhancing Communication in Cross-Disciplinary Research

A conference on Enhancing Communication in Cross-Disciplinary Research (ECCDR) will take place this Sept. 30 – Oct. 2 in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. This conference is an outgrowth of our IGERT project on integrating education in sustainable production and biodiversity conservation at the University of Idaho (with our partners at CATIE in Costa Rica).
The conference is designed as a forum to share the latest developments in improving cross-disciplinary collaboration. Participants will include key thinkers, university and agency representatives and participants in this kind of research, especially those engaged in collaborations that bridge human and social dimensions. We would very much like IGERT project students and faculty to join us!
We are now accepting proposals for workshops, posters, and symposium presentations for this conference. The deadline is May 15, but can be extended for IGERT teams wishing to participate, please contact us if you have any questions: sanforde@uidaho.edu.
