A2C2 IGERT Hosts Second Annual Retreat

The A2C2 IGERT at the University of Maine recently hosted its second annual retreat for trainees, faculty, and external program partners. The retreat was held at the Darling Marine Center (Walpole, Maine) on the shores of the scenic Damariscotta River. Eleven trainees from Cohorts 1 and 2 and twenty participating faculty members attended the event, along with five external partners from state government, NGOs, partner universities, and the private sector. The group enjoyed two days of engaging presentations, discussions, and team building activities focused on the creation of adaptation strategies for abrupt climate change events.
