2013 IGERT Video and Poster Competition: Thank you

Thanks to all who participated in this year’s NSF IGERT Video and Poster Competition. The event was incredibly successful in disseminating cutting edge science both to the IGERT community and to the public-at-large. During the one week, May 20-27, the Competition received over 54,000 visits from over 41,000 unique users from 158 countries. This is truly amazing. The Competition was featured on Scientific American and Nature.com as well as others.
We would like to acknowledge the work of all119 presenters (and teams of presenters) who showcased their innovative, interdisciplinary research online through their videos and posters, making this event such a success. We would also like to thank the 50 IGERT faculty judges who volunteered their time to choose the 20 Judges’ Choice winners during this event.
The Judges’ Choice, Community Choice, and Public Choice winners are now posted on the Competition site which is also still open for commenting until May 31st. After the 31st, the website will be archived and available for members and guests to view at any time.
