Professor Henry Kapteyn elected member of the US National Academy of Sciences

Professor Kapteyn, from JILA and CU’s Physics Department, has been elected member of the US National Academy of Sciences. An active participant in the COSI-IGERT since the beginning of the program, Prof. Kapteyn has been the adviser of many students in the program. He was one of the first faculty to present his research in the COSI Seminars (see video of his presentation at http://youtu.be/TM0VeuiDbJY). See the official announcement on the NAS website.
