PolarTREC celebrates the International Polar Year by transporting the public to remote polar locations through live from the field calls and Internet presentations. Join researchers in Greenland for this special Greenland Education Tour ’09. Live from IPY! utilizes an Internet platform that supports real-time online presentations, audio, and chat functions to allow for interaction with teachers and researchers during their PolarTREC expeditions. Anyone can register for these events and participation is free! Each live event is also archived for downloading and viewing.
