2012 Physics Nobel Prize winner to talk at COSI-IGERT Seminar Series

On Monday February 11, 2012 Physics Nobel Prize Winner David Wineland (NIST-Boulder) will be the guest speaker at the weekly COSI-IGERT Seminar Series (cosi.colorado.edu/seminars). Dr. Wineland will first have an informal meeting with the students in the program. Then, at 4:00 pm in Room ECCR 150 of the University of Colorado Boulder Engineering Building, he will be presenting his talk “Quantum information experiments with trapped atomic ions”. As always, this Seminars are not only for the students and faculty in the program, but also open to the general public.
