"INNOVATIONS IN GRADUATE EDUCATION": Submit an Abstract

SUBMIT AN ABSTRACT FOR THE ANNUAL MEETING OF THE AMERICAN SOCIETY FOR CELL BIOLOGY
Our Education Minisymposium at our Denver annual meeting (this December 3-7, 2011), is entitled, “Innovations in Graduate Education.” We invite innovators to submit abstracts for possible presentation in this minisymposium OR poster presentations. Our goal is to alert the American Society for Cell Biology membership to efforts underway that might be replicated elsewhere that provide our graduate students with an education beyond the traditional “basic research lab only” pathway to the Masters or PhD. The added goal is networking those interested in these innovative, interdisciplinary graduate education approaches that provide our younger cell biologists with many career options to satisfy their goals and best utilize their energy and expertise.
