On March 1, starting at 9:30AM the EARS IGERT is pleased to be putting on webinar on use of liquid crystals in sensor development. Faculty, staff and students will gather to hear presentations on the use of liquid crystals, in particular, in sensors. During this event biologists will present along with Liquid Crystal Institute members. Topics include: Liquid Crystal Optics in Portable Sensors, Sensors at Nanometer Scales, and Lyothermotropic Liquid Crystals as Potential Biosensors.
