Achievement

IGERT fellow Ms. Filippone won the 2013 Pennsylvania Rehabilitation Association Graduate Student Award for Leadership and Applied Research. Ms. Filippone also gave a presentation at the American Counseling Association/American Rehabilitation Counseling Association conference in Cincinnati, Ohio on "Biofeedback Interventions for Increasing Self- Regulatory Ability in Adults with Traumatic Brain Injury". Ms. Filippone's work involves investigating the integration of biofeedback technology and cognitive rehabilitation into a novel intervention for increasing the ability to self- regulate thoughts, emotions, and behaviors in adults with traumatic brain injury.
