Achievement

The IGERT Fellows spent an entire semester writing a research proposal and then collecting data with their co-mentors at the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute. For some of the students, these projects are leading to team-based research that will be complimentary to their dissertations. For others, this research will be part of their dissertation but include an international component that would otherwise not have been likely.
