Achievement

A subset of the Water SENSE IGERT trainees, associates, and PIs traveled to the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta to gain an appreciation of the scope and magnitude of the sustainability issues facing the region. The group met with key personnel at the Metropolitan Water District for a formal presentation and conducted tours of various geographic features and facilities. The entire group of trainees and associates is now working collaboratively to write a White Paper to address the sustainability of the region.
