Trainees organize seminars
By organizing seminars, IGERT trainees learn to seek out and make contact with speakers from across the campus whose work is relevant to the seminar topic. IGERT trainee Michael Lawson organized the Systems Biology Seminar Series for the 2012-2013 academic year. Presentations included "Controlling Populations of Neurons" by Professor Jeff Moehlis and "DNA-based Active Gels" by Professor Omar Saleh.
