IGERT team develops interdisciplinary white paper

A University at Buffalo team developed a "white paper" that provided interdisciplinary perspectives on the controversial practice of "mitigation banking" for stream restoration. Led by a Colleen Bronner, a doctoral student from UB's completed IGERT in Geographic Information Science, the authors included two ERIE-IGERT trainees from different academic departments, two faculty participants from different departments, and the ERIE-IGERT program coordinator. The paper was published in January 2013 in the Journal of the American Water Resources Association.
