Collaborative papers initiated by symposium

One outcome of the ANHS symposium was that participants initiated two collaborative papers based on their individual research. These are titled "Ecosystem Services and Livelihoods" and "Implications of Increased Market Integration on Natural Resource Management and Livelihoods in Tibetan Yunnan." These papers represent the type of long-term impacts we believe will demonstrate the true impact of our IGERT program. We believe that our program’s emphasis on field-based research has created relationships and common research interests among students in diverse disciplines from which collaborations will continue to be fruitful throughout their careers.
