Cycle time of injection molded parts
IGERT trainee Eusebio Cabrera, using activated carbon or tubular nano clay as water source, mixed with thermoplastic materials, developed a new process to decrease the cycle time of injection molded parts. Dimensional stability is also improved. This process has the potential of greatly improving the injection molding process.
