Anti-angiogenic peptides in breast cancer

Jacob Koskimaki has been doing research in anti-angiogenic peptides in breast cancer. Collaborating with his co-advisor has allowed him to test the anti-angiogenic compounds in vivo in a breast cancer xenograft model, and publish these results in the journal Neoplasia. - Collaborating with a co-advisor has allowed him to plan radiological studies to monitor vascular volume and permeability using MRI using peptides as therapy in breast cancer xenograft models - Using techniques from both laboratories we have more effectively characterized peptide therapies in several in vitro assays for angiogenesis including endothelial cell proliferation and migration
